Forum Presentation: Owens Corning EAP Impact on Employer, Employee Relationships
 
        Today I want to give you a case, which is EAP impact on employer, employee relationships. Owens Coring is a company with many talents, so do other companies. However, what we value most is to help them reach their potential. When our employees have their personal issues, emotional, personal or financial issues. These issues will affect employees’ performance. That is why we want to offer some service to help them solve these issues. There are various services available, for example, face-to-face counseling, and discussion with employees. Sometimes, they are in bad mood, or have got a drink in lunch, we can smell alcohol. In terms of drug abuse, we will have a test to see whether they use drug, some times, it is their supervisors who refer them to EAP for help. Other issues, education and so on. If they come across any professional loss, for example, illness, that depends on the situation, depression or not. We also provide our employees with counseling services, trainings, in drug free.
